Description: This lovely moist meadow perennial (3-5″) has heart-shaped leaves and dark blue/purple flowers from spring to midsummer. It re-seeds, but not aggressively. Viola adunca is the sole source of food for the endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly larvae.
