Description: deciduous perennial (8-22″) with flattened, iris-like blades. Dagger rush resembles Sysirinchium californicum except for the flowers, which are dark brown, rounded heads. Facultative wetland (usually, but not always, found in wetlands). Full sun/part sun, regular water (will tolerate less).
